We Play Hard.

Sometimes, I still get a little irked when people look at us like we're nuts when we tell them we're married. I know we look like we're 15 and 17, but I think, "C'mon, when I tell you we're 23 and 24 stop looking at us like we're babies!" But then I get realistic -- I look at what we do with our free time. Although we may be paying bills and acting grown-up, a lot of the time we play like kids. Take this weekend for example: I told you our weekends were full of romance, but I didn't tell you about our Monday. On the 4th (Monday) sadly, David and I were separated this year. We had two wonderful friends who have been in China for the past year come home, and each of them was thrown a "WELCOME TO AMERICA" party on the 4th. One, a boy; one, a girl. Needless to say, their parties were very different. But ironically, the way David and I behaved at the parties was not all that different. Here I am with my friend, Shealy, working on our mad hula hooping skills:

(The blur in 2nd photo is not a ghost; it is also shealy) And then there's David. I think the boys day went as follows: pool time, video game time (NBA Jams of course), and fireworks time. The only truly adult thing about the day was the beer. Not to mention, at some point David attached an American flag to his bike for entertainment. He rode it to the lab yesterday all american-fied, and apparently got some REALLY interesting cat-calls from cars.

Needless to say, we may be married, but we're definitely children at heart.
