Wisteria

The night we drove home from Miami, we got home in the dark, unloaded our bags, and passed out.  We had an incredible time, but we were beat. However, the next morning, we woke up to the most beautiful surprise. When we were gone, wisteria grew all over the trees, bushes, everything in our backyard.  So, when we got up the next morning, the whole yard was a blanket of purple, and the air smelled so good you could eat it.

Now, I’m not really sure what it is about wisteria that I love so much, but one thing I know is wisteria is a sign of growth.  It covers all the dead of winter right before everything else begins to bloom. A pretty incredible reminder of the "Vine" as we prepare our hearts for Easter, and a beautiful picture of the One who covers our sin and brings us to life.
